Blackpool Gateway Academy is in Bloomfield Ward, close to Blackpool Football Club, adjacent to Seasider’s Way. It is a two form entry school that is growing year on year, currently with 351 pupils catering for pupils from 3-11 years. It is a two form entry school currently with 351 pupils (2 classes in each year group up to Year 6) catering for pupils from 3-11 years through our nursery provision.
The school is a 21st century learning environment with the latest IT in all classrooms. It has a dedicated foundation stage with outdoor learning. We are committed to an ethos and culture of nurture for all pupils and staff and in March this year attained Nurture UK accreditation which we are very proud of.
In September 2016 the school joined Fylde Coast Academy Trust and embraces the Trust’s core values of Pride, Resilience, Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Ambition.
